We were nervously ready to take the plunge. We found plans for a new house that we could have built in West Kelowna and were all set to lock into a 'firm' deal. That meant we would have to finance and deplete our savings for the new home construction if our property in Nelson didn't sell within one year. Although we wanted the new home, we were feeling a little worried about taking on a commitment of almost $650,000. So, we decided to search the internt and noticed a website of a "GUY" that will make the difference". Understanding that "this GUY" was a woman with an obvious sense of humor, we called Karen and asked for a meeting. She saw us immediately. During that meeting she offered to show us alternatives while making it very clear that she did not want to discourage us from our initial decision.
Karen shared listings on her computer and then invited to show us a few of them that very afternoon. Karen continued to assist us with our search the next day and it was during this tour that we informed her we had told the other agent that we were not comfortable with him or to proceeding with our "new house" offer. Would I recommend Karen Guy to other folks?? Most definitely! In fact, I have already recommended her to my son. Karen is a straight shooter, a good listener and she is technologically "with-it".
